IDW Trek – 2008

Get ready Trekies (or Trekers); IDW is expanding their line of Star Trek comics in 2008. They are going to call the project, "Star Trek: Second Stage." The news stuff to come is Peter David’s Star Trek: New Frontier into its own monthly title, bringing in veteran Star Trek fiction writer D.C. Fontana, and the return of Star Trek Mirror Universe into a brand new series to be written by Chris Ryall and the Tipton Brothers. There’s also some talk about IDW reaching out to famed comic veteran, John Bryne. This is, of course, coinciding with the upcoming Star Trek movie and in the Hideout’s opinion is nothing but good news.
