Crap of Prey on DVD

Birds of Prey is an excellent comic series but was once a really bad WB show that apparently had fans. There’s a claim that it was highly popular, but it didn’t even make it past a full 1st season, nor get picked up by anyone – even basic cable refused to show the repeats. In fact the only reason why people don’t remember how bad this show was because the stink of Bionic Woman is still fresh in the air.

According to TVShowsOnDVD.com this “hit” show (that got canceled and never picked up nor even got a straight to DVD movie) is the 5th most series to be requested in DVD format. Well those three people who voted more times then teenagers collectively self-gratify should rejoice and then move out their mother’s basement – WB has announced it’s releasing all 13 of the underwhelming episodes on July 29, and it will include extras and a really pretty Main Menu. We couldn’t be more under whelmed. In addition to the entire series, complete with 13 full episodes. Birds of Prey: The Complete Series includes never-before-seen special features. One of which is Gotham Girls S1-3 – An animated series of shorts starring the Birds of Prey characters.
